Environmental Literacy Planning |

Working with members from MEES, NEEEA, and NAAEE, SAGEE is developing an Environmental Literacy Plan which will identify key attributes of and targets for young people who will make up an environmentally literate citizenry. This work expands on the existing Benchamarks for Environmental Literacy previously published in Massachusetts, and will better prepare Massachusetts for the passage of the Federal No Child Left Inside Act. |

The Massachusetts Environmental Education Plan ( MEEP) is a Memorandum of Understanding between the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs ( EOEA) and the Department of Education ( DOE) that charts a course for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental education in the Commonwealth. |
